Information
Sparingly pubescent. Stems up to 15 in. long, occasionally divided, weak, decumbent at the base. Leaves up to 6 by 1/2 in., narrowly lanceolate. Panicle terminal, peduncled, up to 1 1/4 by 1 in. (but usually much smaller), dense, minutely pubescent; lowest bracts 1/10 in. long, ovate; bracts to the cyme-peduncles 1/12 in. long, obovate. Sepals 1/10 in. long, glabrate. Petals small, blue. Capsule 1/5 in. long, 2-celled, 4-seeded, shoulders rounded at the top.
