Information
bulb ovoid-spherical, 8 in. diam.; leaves lorate, subglaucescent, striated, an inch broad, crisped at the edge; peduncle 1/2 ft. or more long; umbel 1/2 ft. or more in diameter; spathe-valves large, ovate-anceolate; pedicels above an inch long; flowers bright crimson, produced in December; perianth-tube above 1/2 in. long; segments oblong-lanceolate, three times the length of the tube. null
