Information
Rhizome erect with scales up to 8 mm long, sparsely ciliate. Fronds tufted, up to 1–1.2 m tall and 25 cm wide. Stipe grey-brown, 5–17 cm long, minutely pubescent. Lamina narrowly elliptic, 30–95 cm long, up to 25 cm wide, deeply bipinnatifid, acuminate with deeply pinnatifid terminal segment; lower pinnae gradually decrescent; largest pinnae narrowly oblong, 7.5–15 cm long, 1.5–2.5 cm wide, acuminate; lobes oblong, 8–10 mm long, 4 mm wide, obtuse, entire with 8–10 veins, pubescent on costae etc. above, with short hooked hairs beneath (absent in one variety). Indusia very small with few hairs or absent. Fig. 2/1–5, p.7.
