Information
stem simple, reaching a length of 10–12 ft. below the dense rosette of leaves and a diameter in cultivation of 4–6 inches; leaves 30–40 in a rosette, ensiform, very acuminate, 1 1/2–2 ft. long, 1 1/2–2 in. broad, 1/6– 1/4 in. thick in the middle, bright green, without spots or lines; margin with crowded deltoid prickles 1/12– 1/8 in. long, those of the upper half conspicuous, ascending; peduncle simple, a foot long, with many deltoid empty bracts; raceme dense, simple, 1/2 ft. long; lower pedicels 1–1 1/4 in. long; bracts deltoid, half as long as the pedicels; perianth cylindrical, reddish-yellow, 1–1 1/4 in. long; tube very short; stamens finally slightly exserted. null
