Information
Plants with very short stem, usually in small groups. Leaves 12–16, sword-shaped, spreading or recurved, up to 40–50 x 8–9 cm, rather shiny, brown to greenish-brown, with numerous whitish spots; margins with whitish triangular teeth, 2–3 mm long, 10–15 mm apart. Inflorescences 100–150 cm long, with 5–10 branches; racemes cylindric, lax, to 15 cm long; bracts 5 x 4 mm; pedicels 5–7 mm long. Flowers pinkish, pendulous; perianth slightly curved, 30 mm long, 8 mm across the ovary, outer tepals free for 8 mm. Anthers exserted 2–3 mm. Stigma exserted 3–4 mm. Ovary green, 6 x 2.5 mm.
