Information
Plants solitary or forming fairly large groups. Leaves c. 20, 50 x 11 cm, lanceolate-triangular, ascending-erect, somewhat curved, rigid, pinkish-brown; margins with red teeth, 2 mm long, 20 mm apart. Inflorescences 100 cm tall, with up to 5 branches; racemes shortly conical to subcapitate, 6–11 cm long, dense; bracts 8–10 x 4 mm; pedicels 6–7 mm long. Flowers brillant red, shiny, pendent; perianth 27 mm long, 8-9 mm across the ovary, outer tepals free for 7–9 mm. Anthers exserted 3–5 mm. Stigma exserted 6 mm. Ovary 7 x 3 mm.
