Information
Plants shrubby, with stems to 40 cm long. Leaves 5–15 in a lax rosette, to 20 x 2–3 cm, fleshy and rigid, glaucous green, sparsely spotted at times; margins with white cartilaginous teeth, to 1 mm long, 10–20 mm apart. Inflorescences to 100 cm long, with up to 8 spreading branches; racemes 4–12 cm long, lax; bracts 5 x 3 mm; pedicels 4 mm long. Flowers red or yellow, nutant; perianth 20 mm long, 7 mm across the ovary, outer tepals free for 6 mm. Anthers not exserted. Stigma exserted 1–2 mm. Ovary 6 x 2 mm.
