Information
Mature leaves almost entirely glabrous save for scattered hairs on venation; leaflets in common coastal form small, 0.9–3.5 cm. long, 0.7–2.8 cm. wide, rounded-obovate, mostly emarginate to rounded at the apex, but longer-leaved forms have also been referred here with leaflets up to 5.5–7.5×3–4 cm. and acute at the apex. Inflorescences typically short, 4–5 cm. long, but much longer in some forms.

0–700 m., but intermediates in Juniperus forest etc. at 1000–1400(–1900) m.
