bulb globose, 1–1 1/2 in. diam.; tunics not splitting into fibres at the top; leaves 6–9, linear-subulate, channelled down the face, a foot long, densely glandular-pubescent; peduncle a foot long, glandular towards the base; raceme laxly 6–10-flowered; pedicels cernuous at the apex, the lower 1 1/2–2 in. long; bracts lanceolate, 3/4–1 in. long; flowers inodorous; perianth 3/4–1 in. long; the segments green, with a pale yellow margin; outer stamens sterile; style prismatic, as long as the ovary. null
