bulb globose, proliferous, 2 in. diam.; tunic not splitting into fibres at the top; leaves 6–8, linear, flaccid, glabrous, 1 1/2–2 ft. long, 1/2– 3/4 in. broad low down; peduncle moderately stout, 1–1 1/2 ft. long; raceme lax, finally a foot long; pedicels short, cernuous at the tip; bracts lanceolate, 1/4– 1/3 in. long; flowers very fragrant; perianth 3/4 in. long, yellow, banded with green; stamens all fertile; style prismatic, as long as the ovary. null
