Information
Tufted with leafy stems up to 3 ft. high; inflorescences at the base of the leafy stems, 1-flowered, very short; labellum pink or lilac; in shade, often cultivated.
Habitat

Range
Apparently native in W. Africa but also widely cultivated in various parts of tropical Africa, S. America and elsewhere in the tropics.
