Information
Large tree to 30 m tall; young branchlets lenticellate, shortly pubescent. Prickles in pairs, spreading, straight or slightly curved. Leaves: pinnae 5–9 pairs; leaflets (9–)13–31 pairs, 4–8 x 1.5–2(–3.5) mm, oblong, puberulous, especially beneath, to subglabrous. Flowers yellowish-white in 6–10 cm long spikes. Calyx 1.5–2 mm long, puberulous. Corolla 2–3 mm long. Pods straight or almost so, dark reddish-brown, 7–15 x 1.7–2.5 cm, glabrous, rather thick and apparently indehiscent.
