Notes
A. goetzei has not previously been reported from Somalia. The only specimen seen is sterile and the identification is somewhat uncertain. A. goetzei is currently subdivided into two subspecies, subsp. goetzei and subsp. microphylla Brenan, both known from Kenya. With its fairly large leaflets the Somali specimen belongs to subsp. goetzei, although prickles are present on the leaf-rhachis.
