Notes
Milne-Redhead & Taylor 9365 has dentate leaves, which is unusual for this species, but in all other respects conforms to other specimens. Ortiz, Paiva & Rodriguez-Oubiña cite as a synonym of this species the taxon A. pumilum (Hiern) Wild from Angola, which has nomenclatural priority. As I have not seen the type of A. pumilum I prefer to let A. davyi sensu stricto stand.
