Rhizome-scales of 2 types: light brown and wholly membranous, or with dark central stripe and light membranous margins. Leaf-blade when dried out forming a right angle with the stipe, the fertile leaves much taller than the sterile; leaf-blades fan-shaped in outline with a ± truncate base, fertile segments longer, narrower, and more acute than the sterile.

Notes
This has sterile leaves similar to those of A. radiata and fertile leaves similar to those of A. semiflabellata. It is a very polymorphic taxon perhaps of hybridogenic origin (see Kornaś & al., op. cit.).
