Information
Tree 3–10 m tall. Roots lacking pneumatophores. Leaves c. 12 cm long, glabrous; leaflets 2–6, leathery, ovate, up to 12 x 6 cm. Flowers and fruits resembling those of X. granatum, but fruit much smaller, up to 8 cm in diam.
Range
S3 Kenya to Mozambique and throughout the Indian Ocean to Australia, Fiji and Tonga.
