Information
Stem erect, covered with a thick felt of white hairs. Leaves obovate, sessile, entire, 1 1/2 in. long, 3/4 in. broad, covered like the stem with white hairs on both surfaces. Flowers on peduncles about 1 in. long; bracteoles ovate, obtuse, 1 in. long, felted outside, glabrous within. Calyx glabrous; teeth triangular. Corolla-tube 1 1/4 in. long; lobes 1/2 in. long, purple. Anthers with a long mucro above, rounded below, and the lower pair with a curved spur. Stigma funnel-shaped, triangular, barbellate.
