leaves rather rigid, narrow linear, erect, a foot long, 1/16– 1/12 in. broad, subtriquetrous, smooth on the margin; peduncle slender, terete, 1–1 1/2 ft. long; raceme dense, 1–1 1/2 in. long; pedicels very short; bracts lanceolate, 1/4 in. long; flowers all yellow; perianth cylindrical, an inch long, 1/12 in. diam. at the throat; segments ovate-oblong, obtuse, longer than broad; stamens and style not exserted. null
