Notes
This species differs little from C. divisa; it is rather larger, with a larger inflorescence; the chief obvious difference is the larger, brighter-chestnut, green-margined utricle, which also separates C. glomerata from the closely allied C. muricata, Linn., which has yellow-brown utricles and the spike more interrupted. As to the synonymy given above, it refers at least partly to the following species.
