minutely pubescent or glabrescent; stems 6–12 in. long, branched, slender, flexuose, internodes 1–3 in. long; leaves often approximated in fours, subsimilar, 1 1/2 by 1/4– 1/3 in., narrowly elliptic, not lobed, spine-toothed; bracts 1 in. long, the lowest sterile foliaceous, pinnatifid (not simple needle-like);corolla 1 1/4 in. long; otherwise as B. diversispina. null
