Description
A tree to 15 m tall, bole straight, compact crown, of the rain-forest in S Nigeria (2), and extending to Zaïre (3).The wood is bright yellow (1, 2). When big enough it is regarded locally as useful for construction-work, and in Zaïre to make chairs (3).
