Pseudobulbs 1.2–2.6 cm long; leaves up to 10 × 1.5 cm.Rhachis glabrous, green.Flowers slightly smaller, with narrower parts, than subsp. unifolia­tum.Lip almost glabrous on upper surface, being only very finely papillose towards the margins.Sepals yellow-green or pale purple, blotched with purple; petals cream with purple dots; lip purple.

Pseudobulbs up to 4 cm long, greenish.Leaves up to 17 × 1.4 cm.Rhachis glabrous.Lip coarsely papillose on the upper surface, except for a glabrous strip down the mid-line.Sepals and petals yellowish or almost orange-brown; lip or­ange-red, purple towards the base.Dorsal sepal up to 5.2 × 2.4 mm; lateral sepals up to 6 × 2.8 mm; petals up to 3 × 0.9 mm; lip up to 2.5 × 1.6 mm.
