Corolla blue, violet or mauve; tube (6.5)8–11 mm. long, cylindric, straight to slighdy curved, appressed antrorse-pilose above, retrorse-pilose below to glabrous or subglabrous within calyx, throat densely pilose; limb 8.5–12 mm. in diam.; lobes 4–6 x 2–3.75 mm., unequal, obovate to obovate-oblong. Capsule 3.75–5.5 x 1.75–2.25 mm., oblong.

Calyx 5–6 mm. long, clearly 10-ribbed, 5-lobed, densely white pilose with downwardly directed hairs; lobes 1.2–1.5 mm. long, narrowly lanceolate to subulate, spreading after flowering. Corolla blue; tube 8–9 mm. long, funnel-shaped, oblique, slightly curved, appressed retrorse-pilose without, throat densely pilose within; limb 8.5–11 mm. in diam.; lobes 3.5–7 x 2–4 mm., unequal, oblong-obovate to obovate. Capsule 3.5–5 x 1.4–1.8 mm., broadly oblong in outline, subtruncate-emarginate.
